This timber framed entry is comprised of American Black Cherry sourced from the client’s own woodlot and locally-sourced Eastern White Pine rafters. The entire frame is hand-planed to a furniture-grade finish and then oiled for longevity in the elements. The generous overhangs are not only implemented for their design characteristics, but also to preserve the frame.
